Visiting
Northamptonshire is known for its Historic Houses and Estates, and there are numerous picturesque villages with their artisan, antique and country fayre shops to explore.
Our staff at Rushton Hall can recommend a range of pursuits including golf at the nearby luxury Stoke Albany Club, motor car driving experiences at the Rockingham Circuit, sailing at Rutland water and shooting at Rockingham (those activities are subject to numbers and seasons). All these activities must be booked in advance and Reception can supply contact details.
If, of course this is all too extreme, there are a number of wonderfully relaxing walks around Rushton Hall and its surrounding countryside, and the kitchen would be only too happy to pack up a tasty picnic for you.
In accordance with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Hall is opened to members of the public certain days a year. This allows non-guided access to the Library and the Great Hall inside, the Courtyard and gardens outside. To find out further details and public access dates, please do not hesitate to email vhazelton@rushtonhall.com
